British veteran John Lithgo will officially enter the wizarding world as the actor has confirmed that he will play the favorite role of Albus Dambaldor in the much awaited Harry Potter series.

79 -year -old actor, who is known for giving seriously acclaimed performances in films and on stage, shared the news in an interview Screen bound,

“Well, it came as a total surprise for me. I yet received a call for another film at the Sunandons Film Festival, and it was not an easy decision because it is going to define me for the last chapter of my life, I am afraid. But I am very excited.

“Some amazing people are returning their attention to Harry Potter. So it has been such a difficult decision.
