During the interview, when Johnny was asked about his previous comment where he had said how his life has turned into a ‘soap opera’, the actor said, “Honestly, I am sitting here at this very moment. I can and think of all the hit pieces.” And how everyone was against me, and yes yes yes he is off the map…infinite things. I remember all this. Went through all this. Some of it wasn’t the prettiest time, some of it was hilarious. Some of it was crazy. The point is, it just was, and it just is. So, for me, it happened. I learned, man. Everything we experience, whether you’re given a snow cone or walking your dog, you learn something somewhere along the way. Therefore I have no bad feelings towards anyone. I don’t have that big a reservoir of hatred, because hatred requires care. Why carry that stuff?”

Johnny’s new film is set in Paris in 1916 and revolves around three tumultuous days in the life of Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani. He was present at the Rome Film Festival for the premiere, where he was also honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
The actor’s last film Jean Du Barry was released in US theaters earlier this year, in which he played King Louis XV. The actor was involved in a widely publicized legal battle between him and ex-wife Amber Heard. Johnny won the case and was ordered to pay $10 million in compensatory damages and $350,000 in punitive damages to his ex-wife Amber.
