A judge criticized federal agents for leaking details about Diddy’s sex trafficking investigation, and issued a restraining order to protect the integrity of the trial.
After hundreds of lawsuits, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs got a small victory in court when the judge reprimanded some federal agents suspected of leaking information about the mogul’s sex trafficking investigation. The rapper, who was denied bail twice, is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

Court criticizes stay on federal order
Federal officials recently received a slap in the face of the court after documents and photos shared by The Post revealed evidence about Diddy’s obsession. The news outlet quoted one of the federal law enforcement who described these crazy people as their sources as “sick fucks”, resulting in the court issuing a gag order in response.
Late Friday, Manhattan federal Judge Arun Subramaniam issued a gag order for all federal prosecutors and other officials involved in the case. The order warned recipients to avoid sharing grand jury decisions or any other non-public information about the case that could interfere with a fair trial. It also asked recipients to follow existing laws regarding this, the New York Post reports.
“Those comments, if made by any agent involved in the investigation or prosecution of this case, are clearly inappropriate,” Subramanian wrote. “To be clear, this order is not based on a finding that any wrongdoing has occurred to date, as the court has not made any findings at this time,” the judge said. He stressed, “The purpose of this order is to help ensure that from now on nothing will happen that will interfere with a fair trial. The court will take appropriate action on any violation of rules.

Sister’s lawyer’s request
Earlier this month, Diddy’s lawyers requested a hearing regarding allegations that Department of Homeland Security agents leaked damaging footage from 2016 that allegedly showed Diddy confronting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in a hotel hallway. Diddy has pleaded not guilty to all charges filed against him and his trial is scheduled for May 5, 2025.
