‘Jugnu’ Movie Review: Left’s first film is a blind experimental character study that fights sorrow

How long does we take to overcome sorrow? The most sensible answer, perhaps, is that grief is not the same for everyone. For Vicky (Left), in Firefly, The tragedy of losing its loved ones puts it through the stages of refusal, anger, depression and acceptance.

Vicky returns to Mysuru from abroad for his cousin’s wedding, only to get into a coma after a disastrous event that leaves him without family. After recovering, he is in the grip of insomnia, which forces him to adopt many ways, from sensible to derogatory, to find a solution.

The film features Vicky’s flat conversations with her parents (Achuth Kumar and Sudhini) and the girl who falls in love at first sight (Rachhana Inder).
