Singer Katy Perry recently confirmed that she is engaged to her longtime boyfriend Orlando Bloom and they are planning a lavish wedding. She spoke about her wedding plans which were planned a few years ago but got cancelled due to the COVID pandemic. The couple had planned to get married in 2020 but Katy is all set to make her lavish wedding plan a reality as she shared details about the preparations.

Katy Perry shares details about her wedding preparations
Speaking to Heart Radio Breakfast, Katy revealed that she is engaged to Orlando and that they will get married soon. She said: “We are engaged, yes. I was going to get married and then Covid happened and now I have a huge credit at a place which I am going to use,” reports The Mirror US.
The Roar singer planned the wedding in 2020 while she was pregnant with her daughter Daisy, who she welcomed in August 2020. Katy explained the changes she made to the dress as the original dress was designed when she was pregnant. “I was pregnant then, so the dress is different now. We’re going to redo the whole thing,” she said. The celebrations won’t end with her nuptials as she revealed she also has big plans for her 40th birthday in October.
The Dark Horse singer is set to bring a huge world tour ahead of her seventh album 143, as she has been busy with her daughter for the past few years. She said, “I’m going to do a huge tour, which will be announced soon, and I’m going to see the world again.”
“My daughter was born before that and COVID-19 happened, so it’s been a lot of time away, but I’m excited to bring my joy and light into the world again.”
