Kim Kardashian denies claims she was paid to pose with Tesla robot in bizarre romantic photoshoot

Following the controversial photoshoot, a representative for Kardashian confirmed to The New York Times on Friday that she “did not receive payment” for the preferred photoshoot with the Tesla bot. In one photo, the socialite was seen naked on the robot’s lap wearing Baleniaga leggings and a black bomber jacket, with no shirt underneath.

The mother of four also shook hands with the mechanical man while sitting inside an unreleased gold Tesla Cybertruck. She shared the carousel of photos on Instagram and captioned it with an alien emoji. In a video shared on X, Kardashian introduced her “new friend” to her 75.1 million followers on the platform.

“Hello! Can you do that? I love you?” he asked, prompting the robot to fold its hands and form a heart. The reality TV star was surprised when a robot completed a heart for her hand. In another video, which shows the robot sitting in her Tesla Cybertruck, Kardashian wrote a flirtatious caption, “Optimus is here to take mw [sic] For a ride in the CyberCab.”

Kardashian’s post and video left netizens confused, with many calling Optimus her “low-maintenance boyfriend.” Another user commented, “I wonder how much money it cost Tesla and Elon for Kim to do this,” while a third said, “Sorry Kim, you wouldn’t be normal [sic] this strange behavior [sic] For us, we don’t want this!”
