Producer J. Satish Kumar, known for financing the 2015 film Kuttaram Kadithal, is all set for the sequel of the film. Apart from producing the sequel, he will also star as the film’s protagonist.

In the new film, JSK plays a 60-year-old teacher who is about to receive a President’s Award, however it is a life-changing event. The film is reportedly based on true incidents that happened across the country.

Kuttaram Kadithal 2 Cinematography will be by Satish ji and music will be by DK. Editor CS Prem Kumar who worked Kuttaram Kadithal A sequel has also been signed. The film will go on floors from the last week of July and will be shot in Kodaikanal, Dindigul, Chennai and Kerala.
