Fans have expressed their support for Lady Gaga after she addressed her pregnancy rumors on TikTok. In the video, Gaga references Taylor Swift’s song Down Bad. “I don’t need to find an aesthetic. I am an aesthetic. I mean, I’m sure there’s someone here right now going on Pinterest trying to type in all these adjectives to describe me,” a voiceover says in the clip.
The text on the video says, “Not pregnant – just crying my ass off at the gym.” This is a line from a song called Down Bad, which is included in The Tortured Poets Department.
Gaga’s video was shared on Instagram, where fans defended her.
‘How disgusting to treat her like an object’
“And this is why some of you guys should shut up and stop commenting on women’s bodies. Her body is perfectly normal. God bless her,” one user wrote in the comments section of the above video. “This actually makes me so sad. I hope you realize how disgusting it is to objectify her every time she gains a little weight. She’s everything. I want to give her the biggest and warmest hug right now…” another user said, while one wrote, “The fact that she even “has to” post this is so sad.”
“The fact that she had to do this is incredibly sad. We need to do better as a community that is rooted in kindness,” said one user, while another wrote, “I felt so sad immediately after seeing this….. I truly hate you all.” “She is beautiful, there are so many haters on the internet, her eyeliner looks great anyway,” one wrote.
Even Taylor Swift came out in support of Gaga and commented on the TikTok video, saying, “Can we all just agree that commenting on a woman’s body is offensive and irresponsible. Gaga doesn’t owe anyone an explanation and neither does any woman.”
Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky’s relationship
Many social media users wondered if Gaga was pregnant after they saw some of her photos, which made them think so. Gaga began dating tech entrepreneur Michael Polansky in 2020. Their relationship is reportedly going strong and the pair were even spotted kissing each other at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas. In fact, months before the pregnancy rumors, fans sparked engagement rumors after Gaga was spotted wearing a ring.
Gaga told MSNBC’s Morning Joe in 2020 that Polansky is “the love of her life.” “Born This Way Foundation, along with my mom, Cynthia Germanotta, and our co-founder Maya [Enista Smith]Someone I love so much … is doing some mental health work with me … the love of my life,” she said at the time.
Recently, a source opened up about the pair’s romance. The source told E! News, “She really loves him!”, adding that Polansky and Gaga “are the polar opposites of each other, which is a good thing for her overall.” The source said of Polansky, “He definitely cares a lot about Gaga.”
