What is a coffin doing in the middle of an art gallery? Or for that case, a mirror that almost becomes liquid and vibrates as vibration. Well, these two things are two of the many things that do not necessarily do not necessarily fit in clean categories as part of the newly inaugurated exhibition in Delhi, its inaugural exhibition in Delhi.

This is not to say that they do not have tasks that fit specific categories-pains, sculptures, installations as well as audio-visual works that are spread in the gallery located in the basement, but the voices are fresh and pushed the perspective borders. The method always stands for young and emerging voices, experiments and a kind of risk that is rarely seen in contemporary art.

For a fairly young art gallery – he recently turned five with two places in Mumbai – a bold step in itself to make a step in the art market in Delhi. Sahil Arora, the founder, method, shares that he was not looking to open a gallery in the capital, but the space forced him to do so. “We have very few places in Mumbai that works good for the exhibitions we have done. After saying this, we want to do so much, but cannot do because space is a limit. Here, we have the opportunity to do so, ”he says.

The method also takes its responsibility towards making a gallery which is durable and very seriously very serious. By that end, he is bound with a research and design lab reform dedicated to the creation of a permanent and healthy physical world. If the gallery walls expose and expose and expose a little, it is because they have been treated with bio-platteers and bio-values, which increase indoor air quality and improve the overall manufactured environment. Sahil says, “These options enabling artistic expression reflect our shared commitment to make places that prefer environmental welfare.”
