In 2010, Liam asked his fans, “If I die, will you come to my funeral…?” This post has now come back to haunt his well-wishers.
Fans became emotional as they reflected on the singer’s life and legacy. The comments section was filled with messages of love, sadness and gratitude as fans expressed their feelings.
“They did,” one user wrote, sharing photos of all the One Direction bandmates united for the funeral.
“Why did you write like that? That hurts,” one user shared, with another noting, “They did my peno, they did, we all wish they didn’t have to do that”.
“They came, rest in peace, enjoy heaven, you did good, you lived,” one comment read, while another read, “I’m crying now.”

Liam Payne’s funeral took place
Liam’s funeral took place on Wednesday in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, northwest of London. The late singer’s bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik, who were part of the band One Direction, were among the mourners at the funeral.
Simon Cowell was also seen crying at the funeral. The record executive who helped create One Direction shared an emotional embrace with the late singer’s parents outside St Mary’s Church in Amersham, England.
Liam’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy was also present at the funeral. His former partner Cheryl, with whom he has a son, was also seen.
About Liam’s death
Liam reportedly died after falling from a hotel balcony in the Palermo district of Buenos Aires. He died on 16 October. Autopsy has also been conducted. Liam’s father also traveled to Buenos Aires to identify the singer’s body and collect his remaining belongings. His death was believed to be the result of multiple injuries from the fall, with preliminary toxicology reports revealing the presence of substances. Liam went to South America to support Niall, who was touring to promote his third studio album, The Show.
