Liam Payne's close family friend claims the singer 'didn't want to die' and he 'would have lived' if...

Liam Payne’s death has shocked his family, friends and fans, with a source close to the late singer claiming he did not commit suicide and could have been saved.

Speaking to the Daily Mail on Sunday, those closest to Liam said he “would have been alive” if an ambulance had been called sooner.

“‘If someone had called an ambulance when he collapsed in the hotel lobby instead of taking him back to his room and leaving him alone in a psychotic state, he would still be with us.’

He further revealed that “Liam didn’t want to die” because he had promised never to commit suicide. According to him, the singer was looking forward to his better future.

Liam Payne’s last meal was ‘chocolate-chip cookies’

Before his death, Liam was “re-working” on his favorite One Direction song, “Fireproof”, on his computer, he said, adding that he had passed psychological and medical examinations a few days earlier, Which proved that he was “completely clean” and he arrived in Argentina to renew his US visa.

Saying he was in “good spirits”, he said he was preparing to return home to Miami to meet girlfriend Kate Cassidy on Friday.

He further revealed that his favorite dessert, chocolate-chip cookies, was his last meal.

Liam Payne’s death remains under investigation

At 5:04 pm on Wednesday, the 31-year-old musician died after falling 45 feet from the third-floor balcony of his hotel room to the patio below.

In her room, police discovered drugs, including “Crystal”, a strong psychedelic that induces psychotic episodes and blackouts.

“Where did Liam get his drugs when he had no money?” the source asked.

According to multiple police sources, investigators believe he was given drugs by someone at the hotel. Reports have not been verified that the hotel has dismissed at least one staff member following an internal investigation.

The investigation into Liam’s death “continues”, investigators informed the Secretary of State last night, adding that charges against drug suppliers were “imminent.”
