Lollapalooza India 2025 announces its lineup

Lollapalooza India has announced its lineup for the 2025 edition, which is set to be held in Mumbai on March 8-9. After the success of its first two editions, the multi-genre music festival is expected to attract a large footfall, featuring both international and Indian artistes, catering to a variety of musical tastes.

The 2025 edition will see Green Day, the iconic American punk rock band, perform in India for the first time. American Idiot And Boulevard of Broken DreamsGreen Day’s inclusion is expected to attract a large group of rock fans. They are joined by Canadian pop star Shawn Mendes, who is returning to live performances after a two-year hiatus. Mendes, whose hits include in my blood And treat you betteris likely to appeal to a wider pop audience.

Other international performances include former One Direction member Louis Tomlinson, who is making his first performance in India, and British band Glass Animals, known for their hit singles heat wavesSpeaking of electronic music, the event features renowned DJs Zedd and John Summit, who are expected to deliver high-energy performances.

The festival emphasizes diversity by including hip-hop and rap acts. Big Boy, a member of the influential hip-hop duo Outkast, will perform alongside Indian rapper Hanumankind, whose viral hit Big Dogs Made waves on the charts recently.

Apart from the main artists, Lollapalooza India also brings forth emerging talents and local musicians. Notable mentions include sitar player Niladri Kumar, indie artist Dot and electronic producer Spreak. Indian rap duo Raftaar x Krishna will present their energetic renditions, while singer-songwriters like Lisa Mishra and Raman Negi will present a mix of folk and contemporary influences. Pianist and composer Sahil Vasudeva will showcase his experimental style, and indie favourites Raghav Meetal and Anushka are set to present a homegrown twist. South Korean indie band Wave to Earth and Cuban-American pop singer Isabel Larrosa are among the international emerging artists.
