65-year-old singer Lucky Ali claims that living as a Muslim in today’s times is becoming very lonely. He also listed many implications of this.
Singer Lucky Ali, known for songs like Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, O Sanam and Kitni Haseen Zindagi, spoke about what it feels like to be a Muslim today. He claimed that it is a “lonely experience” as the world calls you a “terrorist”. Lucky Ali’s confession
Lucky wrote on his X handle on Friday, “Being a Muslim in today’s world is a lonely place. Following the Sunnah of the Prophet is a lonely place, your friends will abandon you, the world will call you a terrorist.” Though fans were not aware of the context of Lucky’s tweet, they flooded the comments section to assure the singer that he is not alone.

One of them commented, “Ustad ji there are good people and bad people. Whatever it may be, coming from a person like me, you are a legend and will always be. And every good person is a good person. That’s it. It doesn’t matter if he is Lucky Ali or Lucky Sharma.” Another one wrote, “Does it matter? And if your friends are leaving you, they were never your friends. You should be thankful that because of your religious belief you are able to understand the mindset of people around you, else you would have been in a dilemma all your life.”
“Better to be alone than in the wrong company. It’s hard to find peace and spirituality when we are surrounded by materialistic people. Prophet’s Sumnah is against capitalism, so they tarnish the image of Muslims. Change your company and be with people who are not materialistic,” a third comment read, while another added, “Destination is set where you are the captain, engineer, sailor all together, passengers boarding and disembarking. Reaching your destination safely is the goal, nothing else matters.”
Lucky Ali is the son of late veteran actor Mehmood. He lives in Bengaluru and is also an organic farmer. Lucky is known for his melodious tunes since the early 2000s. His most recent track was Tu Hai Kahan, composed and written by The Local Train and filmed on Vidya Balan and Pratik Gandhi in the romantic comedy, Do Aur Do Pyaar.
