New Delhi: One of the prestigious classics of Malayalam cinema, the trailer for re -release of ‘Oru Wadakkan Veeragatha’ was launched in the Amma office.

The program unveiled the trailer by icon, Mamooty, Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi together. Actor Winith Kumar, Jomol, and Ramu, who acted in the film, also participated, as well as the children of the late producer PV Gangadharan -Shahenuga Jayathilak and Sherga Sandeep.

Sherga Sandeep shared, “36 years ago, our father released the film. Unfortunately, he died last year and could not fulfill his dream to release it in 4K. In his memory as a tribute, my sisters and I decided to do it. Together with Mount Vasudevan sir, we agreed to re -release the film for today’s generation, made a true classic without any special impact or VFX. ,

She adds, “Mammooty Sir was incredibly helpful throughout the process. In the trailer launch, we got a support from the support of Mamooty Sir, Mohanlal Sir, and Suresh Gopi sir, for which we are deeply grateful to us. ,

Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha was originally released in 1989, the film was a big hit. Of Mamuti, Suresh Gopi, Madhavi, Balan. In the lead roles of Nair and Captain Raju, the film was observed for its brilliant performance and craftsmanship.

To cinematography. Was handled by Ramchandra Babu, in which Bombay Ravi composed music and Ms. Mani edited the film.

Built by PV Gangadharan under the Grihalkshami Productions, Oru Vadakkan Virgatha Mount Mount Vasudevan Nair, director Hariharan and Mamooty had a collaboration.

The family of the departed producer expressed the desire to re -present the film to the audience using modern visual and sound technologies.

Oru Wadakkan Veeragatha received several praise including the National and State Film Awards. Mammooty won the National Award for Best Actor for his extraordinary performance, and the film earned recognition for the best screenplay, best production design and best dress design. It also won eight Kerala State Film Awards.

The Oru Wadakkan Virgatha, paying tribute to the late writer Mount Vasudevan Nair, will be re -released in theaters from 7 February to 4K.
