The controversy surrounding Nayanthara’s open letter, which accused actor-producer Dhanush of ‘retaliating’ against her upcoming Netflix documentary, Nayanthara: beyond the fairy talehas just taken a more serious turn.
Hours after Nayanthara published the letter, seven of Dhanush’s former female co-stars extended their support to Nayanthara, symbolically or otherwise. Nazriya Fahadh (who acted with Dhanush newandi), Shruti Haasan (Munu), Aishwarya Rajesh (Vada Chennai), Aishwarya Lakshmi (Jagme Thandhiram), Gauri ji Kishan (kernel) and Anupama Parameswaran (cody) ‘Liked’ Nayanthara’s post to show his solidarity.

She said that although she would respond to Dhanush’s notice through legal means, she wanted to highlight the “moral side” of her struggle, “which should be defended in the court of God.” He further said that after this Dhanush’s ego got hurt a lot.
