The ninth and final installment of the legal drama Suit It will begin streaming on Netflix from July 1.

The streamer made the announcement on social media after cast members Patrick J. Adams, Sarah Rafferty, Dulé Hill, Amanda Schull, Abigail Spencer and former USA Network president Jeff Vachsel attended a reunion panel presented by Netflix’s Tudum at the ATX TV Festival in Austin, Texas.

Produced by Eran Korsh, Suit aired in 2011 and followed Mike Ross (Adams), a college dropout with a poor memory who is hired by Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) at a New York law firm.

The show’s first eight seasons were acquired by Netflix last year, boosting its popularity. Suit The show remained in the top 10 list for four consecutive weeks after it began streaming. According to Netflix, it also became the most streamed show of 2023 on the platform.

Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman, Rafferty, Schull, Hill, and Katherine Heigl star in the final season, while Adams appears as a special guest star. Suit The story focuses on the growing firm, Zane Specter Litt Wheeler Williams, which once again faces uncertainty and change after Robert Zane (Wendell Pierce) works with the bar association to save Harvey.

Following his sacrifice, Samantha Wheeler (Heigl) is left reeling from the loss of her mentor, and while trying to console her, Harvey realizes he doesn’t want to lose the one person who’s most important to him: Donna.

“Season 9 features the legendary lawyer and COO as he balances his relationship with work and struggles to save the firm’s tarnished reputation alongside his colleagues, Louis Litt (Hoffman), Alex Williams (Hill), Katrina Bennett (Schull) and Samantha.

The official logline for the upcoming chapter states, “As the season progresses, the main characters’ personal lives are explored in greater depth than ever before, setting up the series’ conclusion, in which everyone will finally be forced to decide who they are and what kind of lawyer they want to be.”
