Nischichi: Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is currently ready for the release of his upcoming film ‘Nishnchi’, in a crime-comedy debutman Thackeray is depicted in dual roles. Beyond the much awaited release, the film reviewed the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) examination committee, which requested subtle amendments.
CBFC cleaned Anurag Kashyap’s decision
With just one day for the release of Anurag Kashyap’s much awaited film Nishchi, CBFC has approved it after requesting amendments to curse words in 12 examples. The board asked the manufacturers to change a specific dishonesty term in six scenes and modify other derogatory words in the other six, while no visual cuts were made for the film.

For the Bollywood Hungama on August 21, Nishachi was passed in the length of the film with the U/A16+ certificate, as mentioned on the sensor certificate, 176.48 minutes. Earlier, Anurag Kashyap’s film was 2 hours, 56 minutes and 48 seconds long.

On 5 September, Nishchi manufacturers re-approached CBFC to make voluntary changes, including adding 2-minute-14-second song ‘Saram Lagela’, after 58-second credit scene, and six-second slate slate reading reading reading ‘and of parts 1’, this also makes a confirmation of the sequel for Arag Kash. The Zee Music Company and the Amazon Prime Video logo were also included, which was extending the film’s runtime for 17 seconds.
Nishachi: Anurag Kashyap’s longest film
The manufacturers made more changes in Nishachi. The initial credit titles were re -prepared, the song ‘EE Manwa’ (39 seconds) was removed and replaced with background music, and ‘Sunday Ke Mav’ was swapped with ‘Tohra Naam Dil Pe’.
As a result, while cutting 39 seconds, new footage of additional 3 minutes and 35 seconds was added. It took the final runtime to 179.44 minutes (2 hours, 59 minutes and 44 seconds), making Nishchi the longest film of Anurag Kashyap’s career.
