‘Odom Kuthira Chadam Kuthira’ Movie Review: A absurd comedy that ends in no man’s land

End of Odum Kuthira Chadam KuthiraWhen a character asks – “Do you feel any argument in this joke?”, This seems to be a final -dictation attempt to express the intentions of the filmmaker for the audience. Obviously, the film is set in an absurd scenario. It is a film in which the father of the hero, who has slipped into a coma, would say, ‘Till now, he was a question mark for us, now he has become a com (M) A’.

But such jokes, which are between the land, some more distant, even require a feeling of time and rhythm to work for absurd humor. Instead, whatever we get is a series of misfire that punches a screenplay with direction, such as the hero EB (Fahd Fasil). We are pulled into their lives before one night from their marriage, when their fiance, Nis (Kalyani Priyadarshan), expresses a wish. In search of completing the same, AB is facing a crisis.

Althaf Salim, with whom an impressive start Najandukulede nattled originalIn which he mined humor from a sick situation, appears to be ill in his second outing. In Odam Kuthira … Also, he is trying to give a comic treatment for a difficult situation in a way. The characters struggle to deal with the turn that their brains are taking. The road lives completely in the land of his dreams, while AB is in the grip of a recurring dream, and his father often consider suicide to live with his dead wife.

Somewhere in the midst of the pit story, a person can understand the initial vision to use humor to portray a sad state of the mind. This is a commendable effort, but is full of risk. Unfortunately, almost everything in such an effort can be wrong. Midway through the film, it is involved in another story about a Foody (Revathi Pillai), who is struggling to live to lose weight to adopt her lover’s demands. This side story, which has only a difficult relationship for EB, takes the center stage for some time, actually without adding anything to the film.

The sheer goallessness of the story wonders us whether the effort is to give us a sense of Mindscape of AB, but the answer is more clear – the screenplay is very messy. Some clearly written lines of dialogue are evidence ahead of this fact, leaving some really funny lines. It is also one of the rare occasions in which Fahd Fasils also struggle to have an impact.

The manufacturers may have tried to prepare a strange film on people dealing with their brain vagina, but Odum Kuthira Chadam Kuthira Ends in any man’s land. It is not too fun to be there.
