On the re-release of ‘Kaho Na… Pyaar Hai’, Hrithik Roshan said, I am afraid of being judged again.

Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan remembers how stunned he was when his father Rakesh Roshan told him he would make a film say no…i love you with him, because he believed that it was being written for top stars like Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.

Directed by Rakesh Roshan, the 2000 blockbuster marked Hrithik’s sensational debut 25 years ago. Now, to celebrate his silver jubilee in the film industry, this film is being re-released in theaters.

A special fan screening by Radio Nasha on Thursday evening brought together fans from across the country to watch the blockbuster film, which also stars Ameesha Patel. During an interactive session, Hrithik reminisced about the casting of the film.

Hrithik, who worked as an assistant director in Rakesh Roshan’s film Raja Uncle, Karan Arjun And CoalWhen he was writing the story of the film, he was discussing the story of the film with his father.

Midway through the process, Hrithik said that he had told his father that no actor would be suitable for the role. Then Rakesh Roshan told him that this film was for him.

“It was a shock when my father said he was making this film with me. We were sitting and discussing a story that was reportedly for some actor. There were Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan So, I thought this story was being made for one of them and in the middle of it, I started complaining.

“I said, Dad, ‘This wouldn’t suit all these stars. I’ve seen them do all this in their first films,’ and he said, ‘Shut up. I’m making this film with you.’ So yes, it was a bit of a shock,” he said.

Hrithik, who turned 51 on Friday, said he went to his room and thought about how he would play it. “He (Rakesh Roshan) came, knocked on the door and said, ‘What happened?’ I didn’t say anything. Then he said, ‘Be ready in four months.’ I told him, ‘Give me six.’ And that’s how it started,” Hrithik recalled.

Now 25 years later, Hrithik admitted that he had doubts about the re-release of the film, joking that he hoped no one would watch it again.

“I will be judged again. I hope you like it. But you’ll watch the film 25 years later and probably say, ‘What were we thinking?’ I hope you don’t change your mind about how you feel about me after watching. “I was hoping that no one would watch this movie again. But I’m here for you guys. I’m going to celebrate you and your love,” he said.

Speaking about ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’, the actor said that he will always be proud of the film and believes that it will never get old.

Hrithik, one of the best dancers of Hindi cinema, had said ‘Why am I like this’ TargetWhich was choreographed by Prabhu Deva, it was his most challenging dance number till date.

“I remember Prabhu Deva showed me a kind of choreography he wanted me to do. And I said, ‘I’ll do it, but it’ll take me two months.’ I asked for these two months from many people in my life, no one gave it to me.

He added, “But they gave me two months’ time and had someone stationed with me all the time before the shoot. And that’s how we got it done.”

Reflecting on his 25-year career, Hrithik said that he does not completely understand his on-screen image and prefers to be an actor rather than a star. “I’m not like that, it’s my job. It feels very human. I’m scared, I’m worried… Some people like to be stars. I like being an actor.

“But the beauty of being a star is that I get to experience it (getting love from fans), and I understand the responsibility. I know there’s power in it, and it’s all good. But I don’t know what to do. I like being with Star, I think I’m a good guy, and I like to stay that way,” he said.

Hrithik will be seen next time war 2The sequel to his 2019 action thriller. He revealed that he is currently preparing for a dance number for the film, which will also feature Telugu superstar Jr NTR. “I am preparing for the big dance number. (Hopefully) the legs will stay strong,” he said.
