AnujaThe Oscar-namine film is for a global release on Netflix. The OTT veteran confirmed the news on Wednesday (29 January). Mark your calendar: 5 February.

Sharing brilliant news on Instagram, Netflix wrote, “Anuja Flexibility is the story of sister and Asha. The Academy Award Nominee Live Action Short Film falls in Netflix on 5 February. He has also shared a clip from the film.

Anuja The story of two sisters tells – Anuja (9) and Palak (17). They work in a garment factory in Delhi. His sister Bond has to face challenges after getting a chance to study at an Elite Boarding School. But, with the decision of life-changing, the young girl is surrounded by the future brunt of her family.

In a segment, when Anuja wants to know what is the boarding school, the Palak responds, “Boarding school is a place where all smart girls go to study.” For this, Anuja has a wonderful answer with deep meaning. She says, “What if I don’t want to be a smart girl?”

Directed by Adam J. Graves, Anuja The lead has Sajda Pathan (Anuja) and Ananya Shangag (Palak). Nagesh Bhosle has played an important role in the film.

Anuja Combined by Mindi Kalinga, Suchitra Matai, Gunaita Monga Kapoor, Devanand Graves, Krushan Naik, KSHEETIJ Saini, Alexandra Blanyy, Michael Graaves and Aaron Kopp. Priyanka Chopra and Anita Bhatia work as executive producers.
