New Delhi: Pahalgam, often called “Mini Switzerland of India”, has become a site of a terrible event that has left the country in shock. The country is mourning the cruel terrorist attack in Basaron Valley in Pahalgam, Kashmir on 22 April. The attackers set fire to 28 tourists and injured several others. It marks the most deadly attack in the valley since the Pulwama strike in 2019.
Alia Kashyap, the daughter of famous filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, took her on Instagram to express her mistrust and grief. A few days before the attack, she went to the same place with her best friend, Ida Ali – the daughter of filmmaker Imtiaz Ali – now is a scene of the tragedy, impresses joyful memories on her.
Sharing a heartbreaking post, Alia wrote:
“It’s crazy. We were here 2 days ago. All the victims, their families and all were impressed.”
He concluded, “It’s heartbreaking.”
Ida, which regularly shares Vlogs on its popular YouTube channel, recently posted a video called “Srinagar with Friends”, which was documenting his visit to Kashmir. In the description, he wrote:

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam and expressed his condolences to the families of the victims.
In a post on X (East Twitter), PM Modi said:
“I strongly condemn the terrorist attacks in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. I have condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. I pray for rapid recovery of the injured. All possible assistance is being provided. Strong.”
