We had earlier reported that actor-choreographer Prabhu Deva’s next will be a musical action film directed by Malayalam filmmaker SJ Sinu. Petta Wrap.
The makers of the film have now released the teaser of the film. Vijay Sethupathi has shared the teaser on his social media handle.
The film is Sinu’s first film in Tamil, following his films ‘Kaayamath’, … Theru (2023) and Djibouti (2021). Written by Dinil PK, the film stars Vedhika in the lead role. The rest of the cast includes Vivek Prasanna, Bhagavathi Perumal, Ramesh Thilak, Mime Gobi, Riyaz Khan and Kalabhavan Shajon.
Notably, Petta Wrap This is the name of a hit song from the 1994 movie ‘Haye Re’ starring Prabhu Deva and Vadivelu. KadhalanComposed by A.R. Rahman, the song’s lyrics were written by director S. Shankar.
Music composed by D Imman, Petta Wrap Cinematography is by Jeetu Damodar and editing by Nishad Yousuf. Produced by Joby P Sam, the film is expected to release later this year.
