Drake’s Toronto mansion is at the center of a police investigation following a shooting Tuesday morning. According to CBS News, the shooting occurred outside the Canadian rapper’s property in Bridle Path around 2:10 a.m. local time. Authorities confirmed the shooting that left one person injured, ex Twitter post. Toronto police said the victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries, while the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle.

After the shooting at Bayview Avenue and Lawrence Avenue E, police confirmed to CityNews that the injured person was not Drake. Although officials did not immediately reveal the identity of the injured person, TMZ confirmed that the victim was a member of Drake’s security personnel. Police said the man was shot in the upper chest, according to the outlet. The shooting appears to have been a drive-by incident.
Since the incident comes amid the recent feud between Drake and fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar, police have not yet confirmed whether the shooting was related to that. CityNews Toronto anchor Tammy Sutherland shared photos of the scene on Police confirm to @CityNewsTO that Drake was not the injured person.
