Pooja Bhatt joins Suniel Shetty in Lionsgate India's untitled project

Actor-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt will be seen opposite Suniel Shetty in Studio Lionsgate India’s upcoming project. Bhatt, star of many hit films of the 1990s My heart doesn’t agree, road, then I remembered your story, sir. And woundshared the news in a post on Instagram on Friday.

Last week, Shetty had teased that he is partnering with the studio for an “explosive thriller” project. At the moment it is not known whether this project is a film or a series. Bhatt and Shetty famously acted in JP Dutta’s war film Limit In 1997, however they did not share screen space.

In a statement, Bhatt teased that the project will be seen in a “new avatar”. “I have always been privileged and have chosen to portray strong women on screen. I was immediately drawn to this character because of its strength, depth and empathy. Her ability to take a stand for what she believes in and face challenges head on is something I connect with on a personal level. “Can’t wait for the audience to see this new avatar,” the actor said.

Bhatt was recently seen in Prime Video’s upcoming drama series Big girls don’t cry.
