Sources close to the film’s unit say that cool is in its final stages of shooting. It can be remembered that superstar Rajinikanth had sent to Thailand for ‘Coolie’ in January this year for shooting. Rajinikanth had revealed that 70 percent of the film was completed before the Thailand schedule, which was from 13 January to 28 January.
‘Kudi’, who is expected to be an action thriller, will have many top stars including Telugu star Nagarjuna, Kannada star Upendra, Saubin Shahir and Satyaraj. It is believed that Bollywood star Aamir Khan is also playing a cameo in the film.
The film will also include actors Shruti Haasan, Rebey Monica John and Junior MGR.
The music for the film is performed by Anirudh Ravichandar and cinematography is by Girish Gangadharan. The film is being edited by Philomin Raj and is produced by Kalanithi Maran’s Sun Pictures.
The film has created a huge interest in many reasons. One of them
It is about the fact that actors Satyaraj and Rajinikanth in the film will be seen coming together for a film after about 38 years. The two were last seen together in the superhit Tamil film ‘Sri Bharat’, which was released in 1986 and in which Satyaraj played Rajinikanth’s father. Interestingly, Satyaraj rejected Rajinikanth’s proposals to work in some old films like ‘Thron’ and ‘Shivaji’.
‘Coolie’, which is Rajinikanth’s 171st film, will roam around gold smuggling. Interestingly, director Lokesh Kanakraj has revealed that ‘Coolie’ will be a stand Alone film and not part of his Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU).
