Mumbai: Actors Arjun Bijlani and Nikki Sharma, who are playing the lead roles in the serial “Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyay: Shiv Shakti”, recently decided to take a break between shots and energise themselves by playing badminton.

Both of them enjoyed a lot as badminton became a stress reliever for them.

Talking about this, Arjun, who plays the character of Shiv, said, “After shooting for our show every day, there come times when we all need a little break. So, we recently decided to do something different. Nikki and I said it should be fun, but at the same time, it should be good for our health. That’s why we bought a badminton game set and played on the set in between our shots.”

He said, “Nikki gave me a tough fight, but I was well prepared to beat her thanks to the regular practice with my son. Now badminton is our official break-time ritual; it is a great part of our workout routine.”

Nikki, who plays Shakti, said, “Arjun and I decided to try new activities to stay fit on the set instead of just sitting in the make-up room. So, after giving it some thought, we came up with the idea of ​​playing badminton during our break time.”

“We definitely had a lot of fun, he is very good at the game but I am quite competitive myself as well. I believe these little things that we do with our co-stars on the set make our bond stronger and motivate us to keep going,” he added.

Viewers recently saw how the family decides to send Shiva to a mental hospital after he unintentionally pushes Daadi down the stairs, but Shakti saves her and decides to leave the house. When Shiva and Shakti are going to Shakti’s aunt Manorama’s (Nimisha Vakaria) house, Kirtan (Gaurav Wadhwa) decides to kidnap Shakti as he wants to live with her.

It will be interesting for the audience to watch how Shiva will save Shakti from Kirtan.
