Singer Rahul Vaidya, famous for his participation in Bigg Boss 14 and Khatron Ke Khiladi, recently took to social media to share a health update with his fans, in which he revealed that he has contracted dengue. Health Update
On Friday, the singer shared the news on Instagram Stories. He posted a selfie of himself battling a high fever of 104 degrees Fahrenheit. He later shared another update, captioned, “Dengue!”
Usually, Rahul celebrates the festival for five days at home. But now due to his illness, he had to cancel his festive plans.

For Rahul, this festival holds a special place in his heart. Last year, during this festival, he and his wife and actress Disha Parmar welcomed their first child, daughter Navya, into their lives.
In an interview given to Hindustan Times last year, Rahul had said, “I am bringing Bappa home like every year. And this year it is even more special because my baby is also going to be born around the same time. Disha’s delivery is between 19-25 September. I am just hoping that everything goes well.”

Rahul was the second runner-up in Indian Idol season 1. He also became a finalist in Bigg Boss 14 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. His latest songs were Naughty Balam (2022) with Nikita Gandhi and Aiyo from the Marathi film Ekda Yun Tar Bagha (2023).
