Mumbai: Filmmaker Remo D’Souza says that his new film “B Happy”, about the bond between a father and daughter, has no similarity with one of the scripts written for Salman Khan.
The specialty of Abhishek Bachchan and Inat Verma will be released on Prime Video on 14 March.
Remo gave Salman Khan the story of a father-daughter in 2017 and was allegedly titled “Dancing Dad”.
“I don’t know how the temporary title of that film came. That film was something else; The script is still with Salman sir. There is no similarity between this script and that script, “Remo told PTI.
“I do many such scripts of father and daughter. It is not that there is only one. There is a film that we are trying to make with Nasar sir (South experienced actor). It is not related to dance, but is different, ”he said.
The director-choreographer, who wrote “B Happy” with Kanishka Singh Dev and Chirag Garg, said the film challenged him to correct the emotional part of his characters. The director said that the idea for the film took shape after the Covid -19 lockdown in 2020.
“In addition to commercial films, which I have created as ‘ABCD’ franchise, I make sure that whatever films I do, I include some real -life phenomenon or experience that I have done in my films. So, some parts of ‘Khush Ho’ are real; for example, Shiva’s character is similar to my father.
“The film may look about dance, but it is not based on dance; This is the story of a father-daughter, and more. There are other elements such as emotional aspects, which were a little difficult to get, but we eventually got it well, ”the director said.
Remo said he is actively working on the third part of his dance-music franchise, “ABCD”.
“No dance-based films are being made today. ‘ABCD 3’ will come to ensure. We will have actors in it who knows dance, ”he said.
The franchise began with the 2013 “ABCD: Annibody Can Dance”, which came out by actor-choreographer-director Prabhu Dev, and the manufacturers followed it with a sequel titled “ABCD 2” in 2015, showing Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan.
“Happy B Happy”, including Nora Fatehi, Nasar, Johnny Lever and Harlen Sethi.
The film is produced under the banner of Remo Dasuja Entertainment Private Limited, by D’Souza’s wife, Lizel Remo D’Suza.
