Richa Chadha is enjoying the success of her latest offering Hiramandi: The Diamond MarketThe actress received praise from the audience for her portrayal of Lajwanti (Lajjo). Recently, Richa expressed her gratitude to everyone who contributed to creating her royal look in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama. She shared a series of behind-the-scenes glimpses from the shoot, describing her happy time on the sets. Richa also thanked the team of stylists, makeup artists and outfit designers who worked diligently to bring her character Lajjo alive on screen.

Captioning the post on Instagram, Richa Chadha wrote, “It’s been a month since the premiere, unreal. Unlike Lajjo’s sadness, I was always laughing and happy on set! Although my part was probably the smallest, the dates were spread out, giving me the wonderful opportunity to work with some brilliant hands for makeup and hair.”

He added, “Worked with Shaily Nayak, his energy and work was amazing, also worked with Kunj Shah for the mirror scene and some Sakal Baan, always efficient, also worked with Harry Rajput for the mirror scene and cafe scene, Harry and I work together a lot, we are creative partners as well… and worked brilliantly with Tanuja Dabir for the song #MasoomDilHaimera.”

Richa Chadha concluded by saying, “I am grateful that your hands made me beautiful. No matter what an actor claims, it takes a village… and then beautiful lighting and costumes and jewellery. So thank you. An actor, if given the opportunity, should do all kinds of things. Challenging yourself and seeing your potential is also a good mental exercise.”

Hiramandi: The Diamond MarketSet in British India, the series depicts the complex dynamics of Mallika Jaan’s region as she faces the challenges posed by the return of her late nemesis daughter Faridan (Sonakshi Sinha). The series also stars Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman, Adhyayan Suman and Taha Shah.

The historical drama has garnered significant viewership on Netflix, ranking second on the platform’s weekly top 10 list for non-English language shows during its premiere week.
