Mumbai: Actress Rupali Ganguly, best known for her lead role in the superhit television show ‘Anupama’, has reacted to rumors of leaving the show.
Recently, rumors have been doing the rounds about a 15-year leap in the story, and some speculated that Rupali Ganguly might also leave the show.
Responding to the same, Rupali Ganguly said in a statement, “Wow, people really have some overactive imagination. But thanks for talking about me and talking about the show. What should I say? Every person has a core, and I believe mine is core, gratitude. Both my husband and I believe that I will never be able to repay the recognition, platform and position that Rajan ji has given me in this lifetime. And ‘Anupamaa’ is not just a show for me; It’s a feeling, this is my home, my second home, all my lovely children are here, and the unit has become like a family. So does anyone leave his family, his home? And God forbid, this should never happen in life”.
She further added, “If Rajan ji (producer of the show) ever says that he doesn’t need me anymore, I can fight him, or argue and say, ‘Please let me stay in ‘Anupama’ ‘ I opened the gate for this show and I will remain a part of this show till the end. Even if I face obstacles, I will not quit. There cannot be any strange news than this. ‘Anupama’ made Rupali Ganguly who she is, and ‘Anupama’ has become a part of my existence.”
The actress said it is “ridiculous” that people are speculating about this.
“And to those who have supported me, I want to say that no matter what happens, please keep watching ‘Anupamaa’. My show must go on. Rajan ji is the producer of the show, and his vision is ‘Anupama’. As long as he wants, I will continue to work hard with full dedication and devotion. I hope to God that this journey continues for years. But this is just the beginning; The best is yet to come, my friends. So keep sending love and I will work hard to deserve your appreciation.
