Marvel Studios is reportedly preparing to launch a potential Disney+ series that will introduce another comic book character to the world.
Marvel Comics’ masked crime fighter, Known as the Blonde Phantom, she is the clear inspiration for the upcoming series. She has been a member of the Marvel Universe since the Golden Age of Comics.
Several names are being considered for the show’s lead role, including Taylor Swift and Scarlett Johansson.
There is speculation that Swift may move into acting with a possible role in the Marvel Universe after making waves in the music world with the release of her most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department, and the Eras Tour.
According to Screentime’s report, Taylor Swift is being considered to play the lead role in the upcoming Blonde Phantom series. The 14-time Grammy-winning actress also spoke to Marvel president Kevin Feige about her role as a spy and crime fighter. Although official information is still pending, this development has left her fans quite excited.
Is Scarlett Johansson being considered for the same role as Taylor Swift?
Notably, until just a week prior to the news, MCU veteran Scarlett Johansson was also being considered for the role. After bidding farewell to the superhero community as Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow, Johansson could potentially join the list of actors being considered for the role.
The actress further said in 2023 that she is still working on a project at Marvel Studios that is “other than Black Widow”. Although specifics of the project have not been disclosed, rumors suggest that this mysterious endeavor could be a Disney+ series, possibly based on Blonde Phantom.

The Blonde Phantom, a creation of Stan Lee and Sid Shores, first appeared in All Select Comics #11 in 1946. It is a detective shot where the main character is Louise Grant, who works two jobs: during the day as a detective’s secretary and at night as a superhero who fights crime. To help her boss solve problems and save his life, she takes the form of the Blonde Phantom.
In addition, the character also appeared in a standalone series of her own. She was reintroduced as Louise Mason in the Modern Age comics after her marriage to Mark Mason. After losing her husband, she joins forces with Blake Tower and Jennifer Walker aka She-Hulk.
