Speaking with Vibe Magazine, the music mogul admitted that his shows can be intimidating for some people, but he considered this aspect an indicator of success.

Before the recent investigation, Diddy seemed to anticipate potential issues arising from his parties. Reflecting on the challenges she faces with event permits, she told Vibe Magazine, “They won’t even give me permits for parties anymore. They don’t want me to throw parties again, but we’re not going to stop. We will continue to enjoy bringing people from all walks of life together…”

“You’ll hear about my parties…they’re going to shut them down. They’re probably going to arrest me, do all kinds of crazy things, just because we want to have a good time.

Diddy made different rules for kids at his parties

“Anytime you bring a different element into people’s environment, things that broaden people’s horizons, people get intimidated,” he told Vibe Magazine.

“There are a lot of people out there who feel intimidated by this…it’s good. It doesn’t make me feel special in any way. It doesn’t make me feel like a big person. It makes me feel like I know how to throw a party.”

Diddy’s parties sometimes welcomed young guests and he reportedly set a cut-off time to ensure that the “Freak-Off” would remain appropriate for children. Like at a party, he announced, “The kids have one hour left. Kids, get more comfortable, because after this, you all have to go. This is a finale for all of you,” indicating that once time is up, the gathering will turn into an adult-focused event.

LaJoyce Brookshire, former promotion director for Bad Boy Records, attended many of Diddy’s events in his professional capacity and once told Vulture, “I know that after a certain hour you’re drinking and people are behind your back. If you are doing this then there is no security.” “Drugs in the bathroom, and two or three people walking out of the bathroom at the same time.”
