On October 24, Selena Gomez graced the stage at the Rare Impact Fund Benefit at NYLA Studios West, and stunned everyone in a stunning black, figure-hugging couture dress. During her speech, the singer and actress highlighted the mission of her charity, which collaborates with Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services (DHMS) to combat youth suicide. “I’m so honored to be working with such incredible change-makers,” Gomez shared with viewers, according to footage obtained by TMZ.

However, she missed a bit when introducing the executive director of Didi Hirsch, accidentally calling her “Didi” due to similar names. “So please join me in welcoming Executive Director Diddy –” he said before immediately realizing his mistake. “‘Sister,’ sorry,” the Only Murders in the Building star quipped.

The singer immediately realized her mistake when the crowd started laughing loudly, turning the moment into a light-hearted one. “No sister!” an audience member filming Gomez’s speech joked. She quickly corrected herself and said, “Didi Hirsch,” flashing an awkward smile and adding, “I’m really sorry.” He then invited executive Lynn Morris and another DHMS executive to the stage, where they reportedly hugged each other and continued the speech, leaving Diddy’s mistake behind.

“Didi is everywhere,” a social media user reacted to the video with a laughing emoji. “Oh my god, she looks disappointed,” quipped another.

Diddy is currently being held in Brooklyn’s notorious prison, known for its high-profile inmates and grim history of tragic deaths and suicides. He is accused of sex trafficking, fraud and other misconduct, although his lawyer has pleaded not guilty. Federal documents allege he hosted disturbing “freak” parties where women were forced to perform acts without consent. Recently, six more cases were filed against him, adding to the already large list, with lawyer Tony Bubzi, representing many of the plaintiffs, claiming that another hundred cases are pending.

Meanwhile, as Diddy’s legal issues continue to escalate, old videos of him hanging out with Selena Gomez’s ex, Justin Bieber, have resurfaced. Till now Bieber has maintained silence on this matter.
