Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan; Farah Khan with her mother Menaka
Hours after the demise of filmmakers Farah Khan and Sajid Khan’s mother Menaka Irani, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan reached her residence to pay their last respects to the departed soul.
Shah Rukh and Gauri were accompanied by their daughter Suhana Khan. Pathan The star was also with them. After meeting the bereaved family, Shah Rukh, Gauri and Suhana came downstairs with Farah Khan and stepped out. Farah can be seen hugging Shah Rukh and Suhana in the pictures captured by the shutterbugs.
Farah and Sajid’s mother passed away on July 26. She was 79. The heartbreaking news comes just days after Farah revealed in an Instagram post that her mother had undergone ‘multiple surgeries’.
Farah recently wrote on her mother’s birthday, “Last month I realised how much I love my mother Menaka… She is the strongest and bravest person I have ever known… Even after multiple surgeries her sense of humour remains intact. Happy birthday Maa! Today is a good day to be back home. I can’t wait for you to be strong enough to fight me again… I love you.”
Earlier on Friday, several celebrities including Rani Mukerji, Shilpa Shetty, Bhushan Kumar and MC Stan visited Farah’s house to offer condolences on the demise of her mother.
