Shahrukh Khan, who lost both his parents at a young age, recently revealed about his deep feelings of guilt at the thought of an early demise. The superstar expressed his unwavering determination to ensure that his children – Aryan, Suhana and AbRam – live happy, healthy and fulfilled lives, calling them “so beautiful” and describing his love for them as immense.
In an emotional conversation at the Global Freight Summit in Dubai, Shahrukh spoke about how the death of his parents shaped his journey. He revealed that one of his major motivators throughout his life has been a desire to reassure them, imagining telling them, “I’m doing well! Don’t feel guilty that you died early.”
This personal mission now extends to his own children, as he is completely committed to their well-being and success. “I would feel very guilty if I died early. Our parents might be missing us. Now I am committed to my children in a better way. May their life be healthy, may they be happy. All three of them are very beautiful, very sweet and hardworking,” she shared. His words exude a father’s pride, emphasizing how deeply he cares about his children’s happiness and future.
The Badshah of Bollywood also spoke about his journey to overcome the grief of losing his parents – Mir Taj Mohammed Khan and Latif Fatima Khan. Having lost his father when he was just 14 and his mother a decade later, Shahrukh shared the emotional burden of facing life only with his sister. Despite their absence, he is consoled by the belief that his parents are always with him, caring for him like the stars in the sky.
This connection with his parents is what inspires Shahrukh to work even harder. He explained that he often imagines people looking down on him, hoping to make them feel proud of what he has achieved. The thought of potentially making him worry about his struggles fueled his determination to prove that he could handle life on his own.
On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in the much-awaited film ‘Dunky’ directed by Rajkumar Hirani, in which he starred alongside Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. Next time, he will be seen in ‘King’ directed by Sujoy Ghosh, where he will share the screen with his daughter Suhana Khan.
Meanwhile, his son Aryan Khan is making his own identity in the entertainment world. He is preparing for his Bollywood directorial debut with the Netflix series ‘Stardom’, which is scheduled to release soon.
Shahrukh Khan’s journey of love, loss and determination continues to inspire millions, and his commitment to his family remains at the center of everything he does.
