Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Ahmedabad after suffering from heat stroke, is likely to be discharged on Thursday, May 23, 2024, a police official said.
The private hospital has not yet issued any statement on Mr Khan’s health condition.
The actor was admitted to the multi-speciality KD Hospital on Wednesday, May 22.
He was in Ahmedabad to watch his team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)’s Indian Premier League (IPL) match at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Tuesday.
“Khan is still undergoing treatment at the hospital. He is likely to be discharged today,” Ahmedabad (rural) superintendent of police Om Prakash Jat said.

Many parts of Gujarat are reeling under intense heat for the past few days.
Ahmedabad city was hit by a “heat wave” on Tuesday and Wednesday when the maximum temperature was recorded at 45.2 and 45.9 degrees Celsius, respectively, according to a report by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
KKR entered the IPL final for the fourth time after defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets in Qualifier-1 here on Tuesday.
In a video shared by KKR’s official X account, Mr Khan was seen celebrating his team’s win, accompanied by his children Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan.
Mr Khan also greeted the fans and players at the stadium.
KKR will play the final in Chennai on Sunday.
