Mumbai: Actor Sharad Kelkar, who voices Raavan in the animated series “The Legend of Hanuman 4”, delves into the personality of his character and how it has been written with immense depth, with many facets and inner aspects that no one knew about before.

Talking about Raavan, Sharad said, “Whatever we had seen or heard about Raavan before ‘The Legend of Hanuman’ was very limited. However, Raavan’s character in ‘The Legend of Hanuman’ is written in depth, with many shades and inner facets that no one knew about before.”

He said, “While dubbing for Raavan, I found the story and various aspects of his character really interesting and I really enjoyed learning about Raavan over three or four seasons. Earlier, these stories were just superficial, but in the show, they have been discussed and shown in detail. I learnt many new things about Raavan from this show, which was very interesting for me.”

Composed by Sharad Devarajan and Jeevan J Kang of Graphic India, the song features voices by Sharad as Raavan and Daman Singh as Hanuman.

‘The Legend of Hanuman 4’ is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

Meanwhile, Sharad has lent his voice to characters like Malcolm for ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’, Ronan the Accuser for ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and ‘Captain Marvel’, Deckard Shaw for ‘Furious 7’, Raghav for ‘Adipurush’ and Amarendra Baahubali for the film ‘Baahubali’.

Talking about work, recently he was seen in the web series ‘Indian Police Force’ directed by Rohit Shetty, starring Siddharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Vivek Oberoi in the lead roles.

Sharad also acted in the Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Srikanth’, a film based on the life of visually challenged industrialist Srikanth Bola.

His next films are ‘Sky Force’ and ‘Doctors’.
