The much-awaited biographical action drama of actor Sivakarthikeyan AmaranThe shooting of ‘Andhadhun’, directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, was completed on Saturday.
Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International, which is producing the film, announced the news with a special promo video on Saturday.
Amaran, which has been in production since last year, features Sivakarthikeyan in the role of late Indian Army officer Major Mukund Varadarajan, who led the Indian Army’s 44 Rashtriya Rifles Cheetah Company. Major Mukund was martyred fighting terrorists in Kashmir’s Shopian in April 2014. He was posthumously awarded the Ashoka Chakra, the country’s highest peacetime gallantry award.
Amaran Sai Pallavi plays the lead female character. The film has music composed by GV Prakash Kumar, cinematography by CH Sai and editing by Kalaivanan.
The film is produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, Sony Pictures Films India and R Mahendran.
