Mumbai: The first song “Aaj Ki Raat” from the upcoming horror-comedy film “Stree 2”, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, was released in Mumbai on Wednesday evening.

Actresses Tamannaah Bhatia and Shraddha Kapoor, who were present at the event, were dressed in red outfits. While Tamannaah has a guest role in the song, Shraddha will be seen playing a mysterious woman in ‘Stree 2’, which is a sequel to the 2018 hit ‘Stree’.

Throughout the promotional phase, Shraddha has embraced the essence of her character with a consistent braided hairstyle, which is a subtle yet important nod to her on-screen persona.

At the launch of the song ‘Aaj Ki Raat’, she continued the trend, exuding a mysterious and alluring aura that was perfect for her role. Meanwhile, Tamannaah showed off her own beauty look at the event, wearing a red saree and corset top.

Tamannaah’s ensemble at the song launch combined traditional beauty with contemporary charm, making her a sophisticated sight.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film is the fifth installment of the Maddock Supernatural Universe. It also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in pivotal roles.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under the banner of Maddock Films and Jio Studios, the film will release in theatres on August 15.
