Mumbai: Sunny Deol recently opened up about her upcoming project, ‘Lahore 1947’, which expresses her enthusiasm for her role in the much awaited film.
Speaking at the trailer launch of his next film, ‘Jat’, the actor described the Aamir Khan-supported project as a “big film”, emphasizing his grand scale and powerful tale. Sunny said, “I was expecting big films, and this is happening now. Lahore 1947 is coming this year.”
Manufactured under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, “Lahore 1947” is one of the most anticipated films of this year. The film brings together Sunny Deol, Rajkumar Santoshi and Aamir Khan together for the first time. For Lahore 1947, Aamir plays the role of the producer, while Rajkumar Santoshi, who is known for his excellent story, is directing the period drama. The film, set against the backdrop of India’s partition in 1947, also stars Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Abhimanu Singh and Ali Fazal.
The project will mark the much -awaited return on Zinta’s screen after a 7 -year break.

Meanwhile, Sunny Deol is ready for the release of his next actioner, “Jait”, including Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar Singh, Sayeri Kher and Regina Cassandra. Directed by Gopichand Malinani, the film will be released in theaters on April 10.
