
Reema Kagti’s ‘Superboy of Malegaon’ received the ‘Best Film’ award at Australia’s National Indian Film Festival.

Anuj Gulati won the ‘Best Indie feature film’ award by Anuj Gulati, while ‘Parakrama’ was titled ‘Best International Indian Film’ by acclaimed director Gautam Ghosh.
Additionally, ‘Ma Uri Ramayanam’ won the ‘Best Documentary Feature’ by Badrappa Gajula.
Australia’s National Indian Film Festival was inaugurated from 13 February to 2 March 2025.
The festival concluded with a red-carpet gala and the direction of Tannisha Chatterjee, which ended with the night screening, after a visit to an unprecedented seven cities in ‘Rome Meen’, Sydney, Canberra, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Perth, Edelide and Melbourne at Murdoch University, Perth. The festival will continue its celebrations with an encounter screening of selected films in Dandy Cinemaz in the coming weeks.
