Actress Swara Bhaskar has created a controversy with her recent comments, comparing the response of “partially fictional film torture of Hindus” Chorus For reaction to Mahakumbh Stamped tragedy. Bhaskar’s comments mainly criticized intensively because due to his displeasure with his comparison Chorus And reaction to Mahakumbh stampede. In his post, he questioned why people were more angry at the depiction of Hindu pain in a historic film than the real -life tragedy of Mahakumbe Stamped, which claimed at least 30 lives due to mismanagement. He also referred to the alleged use of bulldozers to handle the victims’ bodies, calling it a reflection of “brain and soul-dear society”.

Many people saw this comparison as an attempt to reduce Sambhaji Maharaj’s cruel execution, which historians agreed was a real phenomenon. Critics argued that both incidents were tragic in themselves and should not be done against each other.

Journalist Swati Chaturvedi replied, while urging Bhaskar to “reconsider” his stance, he said that the torture provoked on Sambhaji Maharaj was a historical fact, not imagination. The Supreme Court advocate Jai Anant Dehdarai also slammed Bhaskar, called his remarks “deeply aggressive and hurt”, accused of deliberately inciting religious tensions.

Many social media users expressed their rejection, arguing that Bhaskar’s comments insulted Sambhaji Maharaj’s legacy and disrespected the sentiments of millions of Indians.
