New Delhi: Popular daily soap actor Gurcharan Singh has been missing for the last few days. The actor is popular for his role in the comedy show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’. Reports of his missing have been doing rounds on the internet since April 22 and finally, after almost a month, the actor has returned home.

After going missing, Gurucharan Singh returned home on 17 May. He went missing on April 22 and his friends and family were very worried about him as no one knew where he was. The police have recorded his statement in the court, where he has said that he had gone away from home on a ‘spiritual journey’.

Delhi Police had registered a case of kidnapping and investigation was underway to trace the actor. Police said that in the last few days, he stayed at gurudwaras in several cities like Amritsar and Ludhiana, but later realized that he should return home.

Furthermore, during investigation, a police officer said that Singh’s financial condition was not good, as he had several loans and dues.

On April 22, the actor was to board a flight from Delhi to Mumbai; However, he did not board the flight and went missing. It was also found that Singh was a follower of a sect that practices meditation and had also shown interest in going to the Himalayas for meditation.
