Over the weekend, the Kidnapped star took part in a viral TikTok trend where people make derogatory comments about someone before accidentally turning the camera towards themselves. Lautner’s TikTok video shows the scene from Bill Condon’s 2011 hit film, where Stewart’s Bella marries her vampire boyfriend Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson. “Honestly screw Edward. Bella should have ended up with Jacob,” he wrote on the video. The Grown Ups 2 star then turned the camera towards himself, acting as if he was shocked and scared. “Oh no, no, no,” he wrote on the screen.

The Shark Boy and Lava Girl actor’s video left netizens in awe as one TikTok user commented, “He won this trend.” In response to a fan’s comment, which simply read, “Taylor,” the star joked, “It was a mistake.” “I didn’t like the video and I don’t know who posted it,” a third wrote. While a fourth commented: “This made my year.”
Lautner played the beloved werewolf character in five films of the Twilight series, based on Stephenie Meyer’s fantasy-romance book series of the same name. The love triangle between Bella, Edward, and Jacob remained constant throughout the film, with Stewart’s character eventually deciding to marry a vampire and become a vampire herself.
