New Delhi: On Wednesday, the makers of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ shared a new promo of the show, in which Grammy-winning pop star Ed Sheeran is seen.

The celebrity talk show is hosted by stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma.

The promo begins with Kapil saying, “Please welcome the man who has sold over 150 million records…Ed Sheeran.”

Krishna Abhishek further says, “These people say there are no ‘ads’ on Netflix, think Ed Sheeran has arrived.”

Kapil further says in the ad, “You are younger than me. But I am inferior to you in English.”

The video further shows a girl in the audience shouting, “I love you Ed”, to which Ed replies: “Love you too”.

After this Kapil says, “I am watching your videos.” You went to Shahrukh Khan’s house. You met him, wow.”

Ed then tried to speak the famous dialogue in Hindi “Bade bade shehon mein aisi chhoti-chhote baatein hoti rahi hai” from the 1995 musical romantic drama ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ (DDLJ) starring Shah Rukh and Kajol.

The ad won hearts with Shahrukh’s signature DDLJ pose.

The four-time Grammy winner then sings a random Hindi and Bhojpuri song for Sunil Grover that he composed on stage: “Ayo Ayo Lakhanpal Nu Janmadin Ayo.”

Sunil, dressed as a rockstar, tells Ed, “We have a program in Rajasthan, so you’ve been hired.”

At the end of the video Kapil says, “He has come especially to meet me”. To which Ed replies in Hindi, “No no…my show is in Mumbai”.

The title of the post is: “Perfect cooperation does not exist…”
