Third version of Mahindra Perfection Festival, along with HinduOn March 1 and 2, the Prestige Center for Performing Arts will return to Bengaluru. This year, the festival will be a tribute to the permanent heritage of Padma Vibhan, which is performed by late Ustad Zakir Hussain, homegron talent.
Through his innovative and mesmerizing music efforts, Ustad Zakir Hussain helped Indian classical music to gain global recognition, and the third edition of the festival would celebrate this approach to music as a universal unit.
On the first day of the festival, there will be a facility of Sadient Mudra Perkuctionist Trilok Gurtu. l. After collaborating with legends like Shankar, John McLaglin, Ustad Zakir Hussain, and others, Mr. Gurtu will bring a world-class set of different rhythms from all over the world.
Another evening set will be the thrilalana project of Aruna Siram. The work of Ms. Siram includes music Hadipur, BC Manjunath, Jyotsana Srikanth, Arun Kumar, Giridhar Udupa and Shalini Mohan.
Late PT, son of noted tabla player. Ravi Chari, a disciple of Prabhakar Chari, and Mestro Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan, will showcase his single project ‘Crossing’. The second day will showcase the new sound of the Indian collision, with Mr. Barot as a musician, and the theater director Rosten Abel staged his musical production ‘Beatrout’.
