The makers of the much awaited film ‘Thndel’, directed by Chandu Mondati and starring Naga Chaitanya and Sile Pallavi, have expressed gratitude to the Andhra Pradesh government for allowing an increase in ticket prices for the first week of their release. The government has allowed an increase of Rs 50 for single-screen theaters and Rs 75 for multiplexes.

The prescribed Thandel for release on 7 February is based on a true story involving 20 Indian fishermen from Andhra Pradesh, who was detained by Pakistan officials for 22 years. In a recent event, the film’s presenter Allu Arvind shared Backster: Fishermen, who went to Gujarat for a 30 -day fishing journey, unknowingly crossed Pakistan’s water due to bad weather and imprisoned them.
