It is scheduled for re-release in theaters with better images for a treatment as Valentine’s Week, Retro Cinema Lover Bollywood creed-class ‘Silsila’, ‘Aradana’ and ‘Chandni’.
Bollywood’s Yesteryear Panth Classics is set to re -release on a large screen with his restored 4K version by the National Film Archive of India under the National Film Heritage Mission.
Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Silisila’ will be released on the first day of Valentine’s week, which is on 7 February. It was directed by Yash Chopra and starred in the lead roles by Jaya Bachchan, Rekha and Shashi Kapoor.
The film is famous for its evergreen songs, including ‘Dekha Ek Khwab’, ‘Yeh Kahan Aa Gay Hum’ and others. It was released in 1981.
The music was composed by Shiva-Hai.
After his re-districts, theaters will be killed on the cinemas on the late actor Sridevi’s blockbuster film ‘Chandni’ Valentine’s Day.
It was directed by Yash Chopra and starred Sridevi by Rishi Kapoor and Vinod Khanna in the lead roles. It was the third largest grossing film of 1989.
Sridevi’s performance was widely appreciated by critics and audiences.
Raj Kapoor’s crime-drama film ‘Avara’ is in line on 21 February with the scheduled release in PVR and Inox theaters.
Assuming one of the biggest Hindi films, it starred Raj Kapoor, Nargis and Prithviraj Kapoor in the lead roles. It was released in 1951. The film will be released again on 14 February.
This will be followed by Rajesh Khanna’s ‘Ardana’, which will be released in theaters on February 28.
The film has been restored in amazing 4K by India’s National Film Collection under the NFDC-National Film Heritage Mission.
Sharing updates, PVR theaters wrote through their Instagram handle,
“This month of romance, Timeless Love made you away from your feet! We are bringing reputed stories back to the big screen, including creed -classic worship – now restored by NFDC to Stunning 4K – National Film Film Heritage Mission under the Archive of India of the National.
Recently, Padmavat was re -released in theaters on 24 January 2025. It stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles.
It is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
