New Delhi: 59th Death Anniversary, actor-Filmekar Randeep Hooda paid tribute to the mythical freedom fighter, politician, poet and social reformer.

Respecting his legacy, Randeep shared a hearty post remembering Savarkar’s influence. While marking the beginning of his direction with ‘Swatantri Veer Savarkar’ released on 22 March 2024, he also portrayed the prestigious revolutionary on the screen.

While reflecting his journey, Randeep expressed a deep connection with Savarkar’s story, bringing his life to the big screen.

Hooda gave a heartfelt note, expressing his deep praise and respect, as he wrote, “On the anniversary of his death, we remember Veer Savarkar, who is a leading person in India’s struggle for independence . His work, The History of the First War of Indian Independence, redefined the rebellion in 1857 as a nationwide fight for independence, inspiring the inspirational generations of the revolutionaries. ,

Expressing gratitude for his remarkable contribution, the post further reads, “I have seen the depth of his commitment, who had the privilege to portray him.” Despite being sentenced to 50 years of life imprisonment, and despite making Kala Pani permanent, Savarkar remained firm in his belief that armed resistance was important for India’s independence. Although his contribution is often ignored and done wrong, his self -reliance, national pride and a strong defense today laid the foundation for India’s growth as a global power.
