Actor Vicky Kaushal, who is ready for the release of his film ChorusShared how he prepared for the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The film is directed by Laxman Utekar.
Made under the banner of Madock films, Chorus There is a drama of a period that depicts the famous story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj played by Vicky Kaushal. The film is set to portray the mythological rule of the courageous Maratha ruler, starting with its coronation in 1681.
During the film promotion in Jaipur, Vicky spoke to the media how he prepared for the role. “A biopic requires a lot of preparation work not only for an actor but also for the entire team. Working on a historical theme is really challenging because of the huge budget, and create a different era on the screen. We have tried to make it as realistic as possible, “he said.”
As an actor, the preparation is not only physical, but also mental. He said that action training, bodybuilding training and research on history were also being done as it was important to understand that period. The film also includes Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna.

I needed time so it took us seven months, in which I received 25 kg, learned horse riding, and learned to fight the sword and then only when he was satisfied, we started shooting. Therefore, overall, it took four years to complete the film. The film is slapped for release in theaters on 14 February.
